Fall Workshop with Peg Mulqueen! October 13th-19th

October 13th (Saturday afternoon - time TBA)
BANDHAS & BREATH: AN EXPLORATORY SESSION (2.5 hrs)
Investment: $40
It’s easy to get lured into believing the yoga practice is all about perfect outside alignment - but it’s not. Not at all. And yet, when we switch our attention from an outside analysis to an inside experience, better alignment results. In this session we will explore how to use the breath to access an internal alignment that will help make ALL the postures easier and more comfortable. All levels welcome.
October 14th (Sunday morning - time TBA)
ASHTANGA YOGA: TOUR OF INTERMEDIATE SERIES (2.5 hrs)
Investment: $40
Ashtanga’s second series is certainly a trip - and one you should take! So hop on this train as we travel along rivers of backbends, discover deep twists and hips, climb strongly into the mountains of arm balances and headstands, before coming back into the station with our closing sequence. During this tour, there will be times we stop, get out, and do our own exploration - while other times, we might just have a quick look before moving on.  So all aboard! This tour of Ashtanga's Intermediate Series is open to everyone!
October 14th (Sunday afternoon - time TBA)
ASHTANGA YOGA: A LESSON IN GEOMETRY (2.5 hrs)
Investment $40
"An angle is the space between two intersecting lines at, or close, to the point where they meet." That's why the fundamental angles that make up not only Ashtanga's fundamental postures - but the basic postures of nearly every other yoga practice - are so important! Because each of the angled postures create in the body, intersecting lines that, when followed, will lead you deep into the pelvis where the magical, yet elusive, bandhas reside. And best of all, you won't need a compass or even a protractor!

Individual workshops: $40
Full weekend (Sat/Sun): $100
October 15-19th (time - TBA)

BIO:
With a master’s degree in psychology and nearly two decades of yoga study, I’ve always found myself drawn to any practice of change. As the founder of Ashtanga Dispatch and the host of the Ashtanga Dispatch Podcast, I am an enthusiastic ambassador of this particular method and enjoy sharing this passion with all fellow seekers on the mat – and not just those who practice Ashtanga vinyasa yoga. My intention is for all students to leave classes and workshops feeling uplifted and with a renewed sense of understanding and empowerment to bring back both into their own personal yoga practice but perhaps more importantly – into their life.
